Power is something women tend to shy away from, which is understandable. There are a lot of negative connotations associated with the word power. In addition, many women have been conditioned or trained to back away from power from an early age, and instead encouraged to amplify other qualities. Has anyone else ever been told not to be bossy, or don’t talk so much, or you’re too much?
As we move into this area of our lives, you will discover that power is not a dirty word, and when you see someone abusing theirs, they actually feel powerless, and are trying to prove something. True power is knowing your worth, and stepping into your gifts so that you fulfill your purpose, and make a difference in a way that only you can. However, if you don’t step into your power, you never get to share your gift that the rest of the world needs.
Soooo, let’s get moving to open up this area of our life, and use the journaling exercise at the end of the video for reflection and clarity. Make sure you journal for at least 10 minutes to get the full benefit! The entire exercise (movement and journaling) should take about 45 minutes.
Practice this at least once per week, but more is even better. Remember the more you put into something the more you get out of it.
You’re amazing! I’m here for you.
