March SpecialTEA- Teatox

March brings spring, which is a wonderful time to do some spring cleaning for your home AND your body.

The season of spring represents new beginnings and new life, so what better time to begin with a clean slate? It’s also a wonderful time to cleanse, so that your body can clear out the gunk that’s making it sluggish, so you can boost your immunity to get yourself ready for allergy season.

I generally like to drink Teatox at the beginning of the day, since it does make you eliminate more efficiently 😉 and you don’t want to be doing that all night. It has a pleasant flavor, so it doesn’t even feel like you’re cleansing, which I’m all for!

Yet it’s really effective. Teatox is a liver, kidney, blood, respiratory, and heavy metal cleanser. You benefit from the balance of a powerful detoxer without it being too harsh that it shocks your system, and creates health problems.

There are things that you can do to support Teatox in cleansing your body and your mind. So, as a special gift, I’m including the Kalusion Cleanse here with simple ideas for a holistic cleanse that you can do temporarily to reset your system, or incorporate as part of a regular health routine.

There’s some great herbs to learn about in this one, so let’s get to it!

Teatox contains licorice, dandelion root, stinging nettles, fenugreek, fennel, peppermint, and cilantro

Let’s go through them individually:

The Individual Herbs

Cilantro

Fresh Cilantro
Dried Cilantro

I thought I’d start with Cilantro, since it may scare you. Cilantro is an herb that people either love or hate, and there’s a genetic reason for that. If you don’t like Cilantro, your genes perceive the aldehydes in it as tasting soapy. The good news is that dried Cilantro has a much milder taste than fresh, and should not upset you if you’re not on Team Cilantro.

Yet, it has some great health benefits:

  • it’s a “superherb” – it contains vitamin A, K, and C, potassium, and manganes
  • it cleanses toxic metals such as aluminum, arsenic, cadmium, mercury, and lead, which otherwise accumulate in your endocrine system, muscle tissue, and bones, and cause many health problems
  • strong antioxidant
  • promotes heart health
  • promotes calm feelings
  • normalizes blood sugar levels
  • supports sleep quality
  • can encourage fungal balance
  • encourages brain health
  • prevents bloating
  • supports bone health
